Transplant Auto Shipping understands shipping your car can be stressful.
We make it fast, easy, and reliable.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Transplant Shipping offers a customizable quote. Since we specialize in brokerage services we work with best and most reliable carriers in the industry. We work hard to find the best price for your shipment. Pricing depends on time of year, route, open or enclosed transport. As a brokerage service our job is the find and lock down the best price.
IS MY VEHICLE INSURED?
Yes, insurance is included in your shipment. There is never additional fees for shipping insurance. You're vehicle will be fully insured for the entire duration of your transportation. By law, the transporter will carry a minimum of $750,000 public liability insurance. The actual amount of insurance coverage depends on the carrier assigned to your shipment.
WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE?
We do not accept the brokers fee until your carrier is assigned. Once assigned you will receive the carriers information and they will make contact for pickup arrangements. We'll send you a link to pay the brokers fee and the carrier accepts their payment upon delivery.
WHAT IS AN OPEN OR CLOSED CARRIER?
We ship both open and enclosed vehicle transports. Most of all vehicles are placed in a 5-10 car carrier. Smaller trucks are generally used for more local deliveries. Choosing to ship your car on an open carrier is less expensive and takes less time to lock down a carrier. Enclosed shipping is more expensive and takes longer to contract a carrier.
ARE PICKUP OR DELIVERY DATES GUARANTEED?
We do not offer guarantee dates because they are just estimates. The same reason why we ask you what the first available date of pickup, is the day you are willing to release the vehicle. Once your carrier has been assigned they typically call you within 24 hours for the best time of pickup.
Carriers deal with weather, road conditions, traffic and other factors that may affect the pickup and delivery dates which can cause delays.
IS IT DOOR TO DOOR?
Yes, we require you to provide the exact pickup and delivery addresses. The most important step is to make sure the multi-car carrier is safe for load. The driver will contact you to make other arrangements if there are safety concerns.
